Quaint little farmhouse at the edge of the woods near “Icod de los Vinos”, 15 minutes by car from “Playa San Marcos” and 10 min. from Icod de los Vinos, the town of the oldest dragon tree of the world, over 3000 years old….
Up here, about 600 m above sea level you find the most curious mixture of subtropical vegetation like palm trees next to pine trees and cacti or other sub tropical plants all together.
The farmhouse is 120 years old and has been restored completely taking into consideration the original canarian style. It is one of 5 independent houses with it’s own entrance and has a large terrace of 100 m2 with a whirlpool, on the edge of the woods and very private.
The house has a total size of approx. 70 m2. Downstairs is a living room with SAT-TV and stereo CD player and a sofa bed for a 3rd person. There is a fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, fruit press, toaster etc. Washing machine/dryer available. There is also heating for cold evenings in the “canarian winter”.
A small and steep staircase leads up to the little bedroom in the tower which has a double bed.
The air up here is clean and clear, it is a paradise for hikers and nature lovers. There is a BBQ open air restaurant within 5 walking minutes which offers peace and tranquility in the middle of the most beautiful landscapes.

This authentic and cosy old cottage house is located far from mass tourism, in the most gentle landscapes of vineyards near Icod de los Vinos, the hometown of the oldest dragon tree of the world.
The house has been restored with love and know how and has a size of approx. 95 m2. It stands in the middle of a green meadow, surrounded by fruit trees and vine hills on a 3000 m2 enclosed own and private area. The surroundings and views are like out of a movie.
This is also the perfect spot for nature lovers, wanderers and families with children as the large garden allows almost anything. There are lots of wonderful hiking trails nearby as well as beaches. Only very few neighbour houses are in some hundred meters of distance which allows serenity and privacy.
The house consists of a large living/dining room with a fire place and a SAT-TV, from here a steep staircase leads up to the 2nd bedroom on the gallery. The heart of the house is the kitchen, next to it is another bedroom with a large double bed.
The bathroom has a shower and a WC. The entire decoration and furnishing is tasteful, of good quality up to the last detail.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, 4-flame gas hob, micro-wave and kitchen towels.
In front of the house is a beautiful shady pergola and a large BBQ which invite to a relaxing holiday. There is also a washing machine available.
There is a very typical and rustic restaurant (Colonia Tovar) in the woods where you sit outside under pine trees and all you hear is the humming of bees and rustle of trees. It is easily reached within 15 walking minutes.

The Datscha lies in the middle of the country side in a vineyard, directly above the coast, and offers stunning views. The whole area around it is protected environment and all you can hear is the sound of the ocean…
The house has a large sunny terrace in front of the entrance and also a garden kitchen which invites to cosy evenings and relaxed holidays.
There is a lounge with dining corner and integrated kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.
The lounge has a SAT-TV and a radio, the sofa can be diverted into a bed and sleeps another 2 pers. The dining corner offers space for 6 and next to it is a small kitchen corner with fridge, electrical hob (2), coffee machine and toaster.
One bedroom has a double bed 1,40 x 2 m and the other bedroom a single bed 1 x 2 m. The bathroom has a shower/WC.

Just to sit under a shady palm tree and experience the silence and beauty of this forgotten village, makes one wish one could reside here forever. Not only is it a Canarian pride and treasure, it is still one place on earth where time really has stood still.
The area is a paradise for nature lovers, walkers, solitude searchers and those who just want to chill out. The breathtaking views to the neighbour island “La Gomera” and to the longest ravine of Tenerife which leads down to the sea and Los Gigantes, the sunsets seen from your own terrace make this holiday unforgettable.
The owner also runs a cosy restaurant and wine bodega on the Finca, (see photos). Kitchen fully equipped with coffee machine, toaster, fridge/freezer. TV, washing machine, bed linen, towels are available.

Finca Palo Alto: "Casa Niagara"
Situation:
The farmhouse, in the municipality of "Guia de Isora" on the sunny west side of the island, is in a small village, at the hight of approx. 800m above sea level.
Coming from the main road it is only 2km to the village driving along vineyards and along a ravin. Truly an ideal spot for enjoying peace and the beauties of the surrounding nature. Coming from the airport – which is at a distance of 35km – one drive past the tourist centres of Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos (20km distance). The landhouse is 15 minutes away from Playa San Juan beach and 5 minutes from the small main town Guia de Isora.
The surroundings of the landhouse:
The original house is some 100 years old and lies on the boundary of the site, overlooking the whole village. The neighbours are mainly farmers who are particularely friendly and helpful. The fantestic situation an a mountain slope offers a dream-like view of volcanic ravines, the whole western part of the island and the deep blue atlantic with the island of La Gomera in front. There are several mountain walkes nearby and it is only a few kilometers to the National Park "Cañadas del Teide".
The farmhouse:
The center point of the house consists of a cozily tiled inner court-yard with an open barbeque and a small garden. From here a stairway leads up to the roof terrace where deck-chairs for sunbathing are disposed. An ideal sport for having breakfast under the first sunrays and to watch the fascinating sunset in the evening.
The walls of this old house are made with natural stones, loam between and plastered. Therefore the climate of the house is good-natured. We also have used only natural products while we have renovated the house. The finca is free from electro-smog radiation.
The house can lodge 6 persons in comfort and
additional 2 at the sleeping couch in the living.
It consists of 3 bedrooms. Two with double beds each (2 matresses 90 x 200cm) which can be separated and one with large bed 1,60 x 1,90m. In the cozy living room there is an additional sleeping couch (160 x 180cm).
The living- dining room
The place have been renovated with much love and care, so that it may keep its old charm despite the installation of modern appliances. Here is a satelite-TV set and a radio-cassette installed.
The former "Bodega"with its dark wooden beams and antique furniture has been transformed into a living room with a large dining table accomodating of 6 persons.
A wood burning oven provides warmth and coziness on cooler days at Tenerife.
The cozy old kitchen offers all amenities. You also find an outside barbecue area.
There are 2 bathrooms.
A large one with two washbasins, big shower, toilet, bidet and washing machine.
The other one is with one washbasin, big shower, and toilet.
Besides the farmhouse is a swimming-pool area with a seperate bath room and a small sauna house which is used only by guests of finca "Palo alto". Also there are deck chairs
and large tables for to stay in relax.
The Bodega-Bar
Moreover, you have the possibility to aquire Canarian local wine, and tapas
(typical spanish food).
